Mrs. Vanita Mansukhani
A professional with 46 years of experience in the field of education, currently working as a Director in Mahapragya Public School, Mumbai, Vanita has worked as the Principal of a reputed ICSE school for 15 years, prior to which she was a teacher with them for 3 years. She has also worked with reputed institutions like The Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai and J.B. Petit High School, Mumbai. She has also gained experience in different methods of teaching at St. Mary’s First school in Gibraltar, working as an honorary teacher.
Students have always been Vanita’s priority and she lays great emphasis on the all-round development of students, while imparting high quality education. She strongly feels that the holistic development of children is extremely important and that it is necessary to train and develop their intellect, moral, physical and aesthetic faculties. Vanita has always been able to establish an exceptionally pleasant and healthy bond with her students as well as with the teachers she trains. She has always been accessible to them making it easy for her to share a warm and pleasant relationship with everyone she comes into contact with. Being approachable has made it easy for her to establish an exceptional rapport with students for counselling as well as guidance for a smooth career path.
Vanita has always laid emphasis on the introduction of various activities to boost the confidence of her students ensuring maximum participation in inter-school, district, state and even national level events and tournaments thereby improving their skills and helping them to overcome their inhibitions and developing in them a true spirit of sportsmanship.
She has conducted value based workshops for students along with teacher training programmes and workshops for parents on a variety of topics. Students have always been of supreme importance to her and she firmly believes that producing confident students enhances the image of an institution.
Presently, as Director of Mahapragya Public School , Vanita aims at producing achievers and leaders of tomorrow and to develop in the students a high morale and wisdom which will enable them to lead a stress-free and peaceful life. The vision of the school is to provide a stimulating environment in which students can develop into lively individuals with healthy, inquisitive minds and problem-solving skills. Vanita tries to help students to understand the world they live in, learn to be tolerant and to respect the independence of individuals, groups and nations. Her aim is to teach students to build respect for the rich Indian traditions and cultural heritage, while ensuring progress in becoming global citizens.
